Corporate Description

The Sudbury Kinsmen Family Centre Foundation is a non-profit organization incorporated without share capital, dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals referred to our Sudbury hospitals and their families. The Sudbury Kinsmen Family Centre Foundation applied and received registered charitable status from Revenue Canada and its' entire operation is overseen by a Board of Directors comprised of community residents who represent a diverse cross-section of our local community. They bring to our centre a tremendous wealth of experience, energy and commitment to serve one of our community's greatest needs. To further complement the Board, an Advisory Council consisting of prominent representation from all districts of Northeastern Ontario was created and provides an important link between our program and the general public. Each Advisory Council member understands and shares in our caring commitment for the delivery of service, and as such, offers a broad spectrum of experience and community contacts that can only enhance our program. The centers' day-to-day operation is overseen by a manager responsible for making operating decisions and reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
